We provide an easy-to-follow six stage process.

1) Contact us for a free no-obligation consultation to briefly discuss the issues that you seek advice on.

2) Laymans Law will provide you a pro-forma invoice detailing the total amount of hours that would need to be allocated to your particular cases, and the total cost that this would equate to based on our standard rate of £30 per hour.

3) The client would then sign their agreement and pay the deposit (based on 50% of the total pro-forma invoice).

4) Laymans Law will then undertake the agreed work within the stated timeframe. Undertaken work will not exceed the agreed timeframe unless written agreement is obtained from the client. A written report* will be emailed to the client detailing the advice and guidance that Laymans Law have provided, and a follow-up telephone appointment would be arranged to verbally discuss the contents of the written report.

5) A final bill for the outstanding balance will be emailed to the client with the requirement for full payments within 14 days of the issue of the invoice.

6) The client then has a total of 30 days from the date of the written report where the client can contact Laymans Law with follow-up questions etc with no further charge.

*Please note that a record of all communications will be kept on file for 12 months before being permanently deleted.
